Difficulty Making an Offer ?

There are times when buyers are not comfortable making an offer on a property, and there are a few reasons why this may be the case. Usually speaking a buyer after inspecting a property that meets their needs will make the offer to a real estate agent acting on behalf of the owner. All people are different and we all need to be treated with respect and dignity accordingly, but what happens some times is that buyers may feel intimidated by the real estate agents persona or actions and this may cause the buyer to decline on making an offer. If the property meets your needs and you feel the agent is avoiding you or making the process difficult, you should try to make an appointment with the agent back in his/her office, before you go to the agents office take a member of your family or a good friend for some moral support.

Make sure that you are well prepared for the meeting, you should have your offer in writing, an offer in writing is very powerful and once this has been presented to the agent there is very little the agent can do but take the offer to the owner. On the offer you should have your full name,date, address and contact details, the respective properties address that is for sale, your consideration and any terms, conditions and inclusions.

In the event that you have no satisfaction with the agent, demand to speak to the Principal, This will certainly sort things out. You should never attempt to speak to the owner of the home directly as this can cause confusion and possible legal implications.
